Privacy
This page explains, in plain language, how information is handled on matt.black. It is not formal legal advice.
Research surveys and article feedback
The Human Edge reader survey (https://matt.black/human-edge/survey) collects anonymous responses by default to test ideas discussed in the public article.
- Survey responses may be used in aggregate to test and discuss the thesis.
- Email is optional. It is used for a results summary only if you provide it and tick the results checkbox.
- Marketing opt-in is separate and optional — unchecked by default.
- Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or client-identifying information in open-text answers.
- If you included an email, you can contact Matt to request deletion. Anonymous responses without email may not be identifiable for deletion.
- Survey data is not sold.
Lead magnets and book downloads
On the Imagination Economy launch page (https://matt.black/imagination-economy), you may request a free 15-minute version by email.
- Email (required) — used to send the download link for the 15-minute version.
- Name (optional) — used only to personalise the delivery email if you provide it.
- Launch updates (optional) — if you tick the separate checkbox, you may receive occasional launch updates and field notes. This is not required to receive the free version.
- LinkedIn — following or connecting on LinkedIn is optional and never required for the download.
Submissions are processed by email (Resend). In the current version, leads are not stored in a site database — Matt receives an internal notification email with your details and attribution fields (such as UTM parameters if present).
